Veskr Terms of Service

1. Introduction
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Veskr, a web-based business toolkit operated by Wiredcoyote Digital ("we", "us", "our"), based in Cheshire, United Kingdom.
By creating an account or using any part of the Veskr service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
These Terms should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your personal data.
2. The Service
Veskr provides a suite of online tools for freelancers and small business owners, including invoice generation, quote building, calculators, expense tracking, client management, and related business utilities.
The service is provided on an "as available" basis. We aim to keep Veskr available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may occasionally need to perform maintenance, updates, or improvements that temporarily affect availability. Where possible, we will provide advance notice of planned downtime.
We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue features of the service at any time. We will not remove core functionality from your current plan without reasonable notice.
3. Accounts
Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to create a Veskr account. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Do not share your password with anyone. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at support@veskr.com.
Account Accuracy
You agree to provide accurate and current information when creating your account and to keep this information up to date.
4. Free and Pro Plans
Free Plan
The Free plan provides access to a specified set of tools at no cost, with no time limit. Free tools may be used indefinitely without payment.
Pro Plan
The Pro plan provides access to additional tools and features for a monthly subscription fee. The current price is displayed on the subscription page within the application.
Free Trials
We may offer a free trial of the Pro plan to new users. During the trial period, you will have full access to Pro features without charge. At the end of the trial, your account will revert to the Free plan unless you subscribe. No payment details are required to start a trial.
5. Payments and Billing
Subscription Fees
Pro subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel.
Price Changes
We may change subscription prices from time to time. If we increase the price, we will give you at least 30 days' notice. Price changes will apply from your next billing cycle after the notice period. Existing subscribers will not be charged a higher rate without prior notification.
Refunds
Because you can cancel at any time and continue using Pro features until the end of your billing period, we do not generally offer refunds. If you believe you have been charged in error, contact us at support@veskr.com and we will review your case.
Failed Payments
If a payment fails, we may retry the charge. If payment cannot be collected after reasonable attempts, your account will be downgraded to the Free plan. Your data will not be deleted.
6. Cancellation
You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time from within your account settings. Upon cancellation, you will retain Pro access until the end of your current billing period, after which your account will revert to the Free plan.
Your data is not deleted when you downgrade. All records you created while on the Pro plan (clients, invoices, expenses, etc.) will remain in your account. You will not be able to access Pro tools to edit or create new records, but your existing data will be preserved.
If you wish to delete your account entirely, you may do so from your profile settings. Account deletion is permanent and will remove all your data.
7. Your Data
Ownership
You retain full ownership of all data you enter into Veskr. This includes but is not limited to client records, invoices, quotes, expenses, projects, revenue entries, testimonials, and any uploaded files such as logos.
We do not claim any ownership or intellectual property rights over your data.
Licence to Us
By using the service, you grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing the Veskr service to you. We will not use your data for any other purpose.
Data Portability
You may request an export of your data at any time by contacting us at support@veskr.com. We will provide your data in a commonly used, machine-readable format within 30 days.
Data Deletion
You can delete individual records (clients, invoices, expenses, etc.) at any time within the application. If you delete your account, all associated data will be permanently removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (for example, payment transaction records retained for tax compliance).
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use Veskr for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service, other users' accounts, or our servers
- Interfere with or disrupt the service or the servers and networks connected to it
- Upload malicious code, viruses, or any other harmful material
- Use the service to send spam or unsolicited communications
- Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the service without our written permission
- Resell, sublicence, or redistribute access to the service
- Use the service to store or process data in violation of any applicable data protection laws
- Impersonate another person or entity
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
9. Intellectual Property
Our IP
Veskr, including its design, code, features, documentation, and branding, is owned by Wiredcoyote Digital and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Your subscription grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the service for your own business purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse-engineer any part of the service.
Your IP
Any content you create using Veskr (invoices, quotes, documents) belongs to you. We claim no rights over the output of the tools.
Testimonials
If you submit a testimonial via the testimonial collector feature, you grant the Veskr user who requested it a licence to display that testimonial for promotional purposes. You may request removal of your testimonial by contacting the person who requested it.
10. Third-Party Services
Veskr integrates with Stripe for payment processing. Your use of Stripe is subject to Stripe's own terms of service and privacy policy. We are not responsible for Stripe's services, and any issues with payment processing should be directed to Stripe or to us at support@veskr.com.
We do not integrate with any other third-party services. We do not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
Service Availability
We provide Veskr on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We do not guarantee that the service will meet your specific requirements.
Financial Decisions
The calculators and tools in Veskr provide estimates and general information only. They are not a substitute for professional financial, tax, or legal advice. You are solely responsible for any business decisions you make based on information from Veskr. We strongly recommend consulting a qualified accountant or solicitor for financial and legal matters.
Liability Cap
Our total liability to you for any claims arising out of or related to your use of Veskr shall not exceed the total amount you have paid to us in subscription fees during the 12 months immediately preceding the claim.
Exclusion of Consequential Damages
We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, revenue, data, business opportunities, or goodwill, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Statutory Rights
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation. If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom, your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected by these Terms.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Wiredcoyote Digital from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
13. Suspension and Termination
By You
You may stop using Veskr at any time. You may cancel your subscription and delete your account at any time from within the application.
By Us
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, if your account is used for unlawful activity, or if we reasonably believe your use of the service poses a risk to other users or to the integrity of the service. We will provide notice and an opportunity to remedy the issue where reasonably possible, unless the violation requires immediate action.
If we discontinue the service entirely, we will provide at least 90 days' notice and offer you the ability to export your data before the service closes.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by displaying a prominent notice within the application at least 30 days before the changes take effect.
Your continued use of the service after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you may cancel your subscription and stop using the service before the changes take effect.
15. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer resident in another jurisdiction, nothing in this clause restricts any rights you may have under the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence.
We encourage you to contact us at support@veskr.com before pursuing any formal dispute resolution. Most issues can be resolved quickly and informally.
16. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
17. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Wiredcoyote Digital regarding your use of Veskr. They supersede any prior agreements or understandings, whether written or oral.
